Dr Bouman works as the Head of Service of the Nottingham National Centre for Transgender Health, which is a nationally commissioned NHS clinic for people who are distressed about their assigned gender. The clinic offers psychological and endocrine assessment and treatment, speech adn language therapy as well as individual, couple and group psychotherapy. Referrals from a GP or psychologist/psychotherapist are accepted. Service is free at point of access. No private practice.
